A low pressure alarm is caused by poor circulation in the collector circuit.
EXHAUST AIR HEAT PUMPS
NIBE Fighter 200, 310, 360 & 410
Turn off the heat pump and remove the top panel. Pull out the drawer, shake the filter outside and, if necessary, clean the filter and replace in the drawer.
Re-start the heat pump.
Ground Source Heat Pumps
NIBE Fighter 1120, 1140, 1220, 1240, 1320 & 1330
Turn to electric boiler mode. To do this see the note below.
ELECTRIC BOILER MODE "ADD HEAT” (Ground Source Heat Pump)
This is used as a back up when the heat pump is not operating using the compressor.
OPTION A (for models F1140 & F1240)
Press & hold the operational mode button (top left of heat pump) for 7 seconds. The display should now read “additional heat only”. Now press enter. If the display does not show this message please follow option B.
OPTION B (for all other ground source models)
Press the + button until the number in bottom left hand corner is showing 8.0.
Press enter 3 times (display will flash).
Press the + button twice. The display should now flash with the word “service”. Press enter again, the word service will remain but will no longer be flashing.
Turn off set knob from +2 to -2 (back and forward). The display should turn to menu 2.0.
Press the + button until menu 9.0 has been reached, press enter (9.1) and then + (9.2), press enter again (9.2.1) followed by the + button three times (9.2.4) and press enter.
Display should read “Add Heat On” or “Add Heat Off”.
Press enter and display will flash .
Press the + button (display shows “Yes” or “On”)
Press enter.
Finally turn off-set knob from +2 to -2 and finish.
